Bagpipes at Your WeddingJubilant, Whimsical, Beautiful ~ Always Wonderful! My wife and I had bagpipes played at our wedding.
And our daughter surprised us with bagpipes at her wedding! There are so many possibilities for including the bagpipes and Celtic music in your wedding. - Create a majestic entrance for the bride and her escort and a lively announcement for the newlyweds at the end of the ceremony with the Great Highland Bagpipes. - The bagpipes evoke a celebration as guests arrive, mingle, and take photos. - The Scottish Small Pipes and Irish Penny Whistles offer a gentler musical option before and during the ceremony. - Parade the new couple into the reception with a lively set of tunes and a Piper’s Toast. It is my privilege to to work with you to create the perfect spirit and aura for your entire wedding. Here are a few more ideas to get you started ... Before your Wedding - Engagement Party - Welcome Party for your Guests - Rehearsal Dinner Your Wedding Day - As Guests Arrive at your Wedding Ceremony - The Bridal Party Processional - The Bride's Processional - During the Wedding Ceremony (Handfasting, Candle Lighting, Communion) - Announcing the Newlyweds & Recessional - After the Wedding Ceremony as Guests Exit The Party and Reception - Parade your Guests or your Wedding Party to your Gala. - Newlyweds' Grand Introduction at the Reception - First Dance(s) - Farewell Brunch |
planning
- We get started with a free consultation.
- Get your ideas together and we will work out the best way to use the bagpipes, whistles, and saxophones along with the music selections to make your wedding just the way you want it - incredible!
- I am happy to make suggestions and think about novel ways to incorporate the bagpipes for you.
The Piper's Garb
- What is a bagpiper without a kilt, sporran, & ghillie brogues? These are a must for the bonnie bagpiper!
- I can make it formal or casual to match the spirit of your event.
- Colors can be coordinated too! I have several kilts sporting various tartans and color themes.

Other Things to Think about
In-house Musicians
- I will work with all the musicians (e.g. organist, vocalists) to insure we are fully coordinated for the prelude, during the ceremony, and postlude.
- At the reception I will coordinate with all the entertainment (e.g. bands, DJs) to create a perfect cocktail/photo hour and start to your reception.
- I am happy to recommend additional musicians should you be interested:
- Bagpipes and Highland Drums
- Fiddle and Cello
- Guitar, Mandolin and Bouzouki
- If you a planning an outdoor event, I highly recommend we build a contingency in case of inclement weather.
